I believe the wagons carry 225 tonnes each. I have seen a figure of 110 wagons per trip to be used.
I worked out figures a few weeks ago on 100 wagons X 365 days. It would mean 4 trips of 100 wagons per day x 365 days per year,that was for a round trip of around 26 hours per load.
The total tonnage per year worked out to around 49 million tonnes from memory.

The Cameroon Government and other countries in the region would want the rail line to be available for transporting other goods and passengers.Also the likes of The World Bank to open up the hinterland and bring prosperity to the people of the region.

I believe the priority is to find more DSO (high grade iron ore).

I read an announcement from SDL going back about three and a half years last night.
Metzimezin does not seem to have a lot of DSO,but does have a lot of Itabirite.
Sundance has been doing drilling at Metzimevin.In the Presentation they say they are going to be drilling at Meridoinal soon.
That tells me they did not find alot of DSO at Metzimevin as they have not said any more about follow up drilling at Metzimevin.

Les Mamelles,if they do get that tenement is not high grade but can be up graded to 68 to 69%Fe Pellet feed so would be very handy being so close to Port.
