It's not gonna happen. The Chinese control enough to stop anyone else from easily doing so while at the same time the Federal Government would never approve it under the current political climate with China and the extra rules it brought in about predatory poaching when economic crises hit because of COVID.
My bet is that the company is safe for the next few years so if it ever does become a target, its going to be a well-developed and producing project at that point which will command a special premium.
