    Hi eagle,

I believe McGowan has been the best performing premier on covid, but his success is more of a product of WA being isolated rather than his management, sparsely populated, easy to section off zones, one main road in out of areas.
An example is drive two hours each side of Perth and go past 100,000 people, drive around eastern state and mingle with 100's of thousands.

Eastern states have much higher populations with a substantial more movement through communities

He still let hundreds of planes a week land from everywhere, more luck than good management.

What WA doesn't yet know is McGowan has let state environmental departments go nuts, which will have major effects on WA for years to come.
2022 Forrest Management Plan due, say good by to forest access for recreation, beach tracks, rally Australia WA gone
Significant more interference in what you can do on your own property including removing native flora.
Significant more interference on water management on you property, tax on ground water used, and DWER looking at taxing rain water because its supposed to go into the environment
Old growth logging banned, with no real fire management planned.
Black cockatoos are now much more important than people, even though land holders know they have substantially increased in number through breeding and endangered classification is completely over exaggerated, and being used as an excuse by green nuts in departments to stop everything.

Things are turning into a shit show in the back ground, which the WA public have no idea.
But its OK if you live in the inner city, wont effect sipping coffee and meaningless protests.
