wow you're really stuck on the tablecloths thing. It was just an example of small things that can be done to make it look a little more professional. The socionext setup, looking back at it, didn't have table cloths, but they did have - a screen that was clearly visible for visitors - clear signage and nameplates for samples/demos - a clearly/cleanly arranged space. Little things, big impact.

For what it's worth, I don't think Rob Telson had anything to do with Akida's little desk there at all. I think he was much to focused on the presentation and other bigger discussions to follow on the side. The desk, and random discussions with people wandering up, was probably delegated.

If people point out something they think could be better it doesn't mean they think the whole company is falling apart. There's a lot of room between those two things.
And it doesn't need to be filled in with sarcasm.
