Let's be fair to Porter. he had to defend himself from an unfair and unreasonable attack by the ABC. He had no alternative but to take them on. The ABC had almost unlimited funds and Porter had limited personal funds. That imbalance was seen by someone and many others that raised or donated funds for his legal battle. This is quite different to funding his political campaign. I suggest a blind trust was the right way to go. This way he was not in a position to be accused of doing favors in return.
Of course it suits the likes of the left and particularly the bitter Turnbull to use this to denigrate Porter. This is also evident with many here on HC that will use anything possible to throw dirt at the Government.
People living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Karma will rule sooner or later.
