Sounds Good Split. Yeah Thunder Bay would be great . I've been there a few times and it is an absolute bitch of a lonely drive from Hamilton Way. Very scenic . But that's true for most of Ontario and Quebec. I remember I ran out of Gas ( I was only young whipper snapper then ) in the most remote area on the way to there once and a very Nice couple from Minnesota picked me up in their R.V and took me to the nearest town. They were coming up from the Direction you are suggesting.

If you flew into Toronto's person International with a return flight with the view to renting a car , maybe you or a few of us could car pool there as I will have to rent as well - but it will be a 4 Wheel Drive or all wheel one of some sorts if it's Winter we're talking about. Anyway , and either way , it sounds like a good plan as i will definitely be going there at some point.....
