Not wanting to detract from this but I feel like Jem may be a bit on the old side for a CEO. I can't see his age but on his LinkedIn he attended Uni from 1978-1981, so I would say he was probably born around 1960. That would put him at about 61 years old.
I can't help but think Brainchip would want someone younger and more energetic. I may be wrong and I'm not saying he's a bad choice, but if they were angling for someone on the older side I would have thought they would be considering someone who already had CEO experience.
However, in favour of him is that he has been working his way up at ARM, having previous roles as Director, then VP, then GM. He would be a strong contender for CEO at ARM but Segars has been there for so long he might never get a chance.
I'm curious what others on here think.
