If Chinese construction flounders the iron ore price will drop back to $40/tonne.
I'm thinking of a new name for BHP to demonstrate its new commitments to selling off the various profitable assets they think are "dirty". Its either:
Bwoken Hill Proprietary; or we rebrand and drop the B altogether and just become:
WHP - Woken Hill Proprietary.
Get woke, go broke. I have no doubt they'll be looking at chucking a few billion at hydrogen as peer group and activist non-shareholder pressure increases, despite an acknowledgement that its pure folly.
