I am not inferring you are stupid, or that I am any smarter than you. I am probably much more cynical about what politicians say, than you. That is what saved me from making the same mistake.
I am so cynical about them, that if a politician wanted to sell me an authentic 100oz silver bar for $10.00. I would doubt it to be genuine.
1. I would check the weight.
2 I would check the dimensions against another bar.
3. I would do a volumetric test.
4. I would do a diamagnetic test.
Even then, I probably wouldn't buy it, because I would assume the Pollie., was lying. Why? Because his mouth was open.
