We do have a great history of preempting the US but of course that means even if they go up we have already done it today and means a higher open but then what!
At the moment the US looks like a gap open and that isn't necessarily a positive thing unless it gets filled.
I look at a few US shares and INTC (Intel) just filled a gap but has a big one down lower that WILL be filled sooner or later.
