Still in there buying up. People become stupid when all they look at is the SP. At 3.8 PE and probably much lower today this it is cheaper than AIS at 10c at the beginning of this year...
As for the Iron ore price which got the market rattled at the moment...at $100 a (ton worse case) FMG is pretty much still minting it. And here is the big kicker. Chinas commodity rattling (Cu, Fe and Coal in particular) puts their very own mines uneconomic (In China itself, and their investments in South American and African mines) sooner than most of the Australian miners with lower cost.... they will need to back off but in a way to not lose face and with Evergrande and their bonds wobbling again they will need to do it sooner than most think.... i.e. the FMG and commodities pain will be over soon enough I would say within the next 6 months... again it all boils down to personal timeframes.
