economics 101

I'm a dummy when it comes to economics so could someone fill my knowledge up.
What will happen to the United States after all this is over? They have huge deficit (dollar depreciate??) huge cash laying around (inflation??) and other problems that I'm sure I'm not aware of.
Is there a flow chart to shows what happens to the economy when these things happens?
If you live in the US right now, what would you do to protect your money?
