I hope it happens soon, the selling to keep this down is relentless. Larry is definitely in the US for this purpose (partnerships) and I have a glimmer of hope that the other Afterpay suitors quickly moved onto Zip after the Square/Afterpay deal was announced. I can see negotiations going on for a while like the Afterpay/Square deal (11 weeks).
I've been going on about wanting a merger but looking at the Affirm price since the Amazon partnership, I would now prefer some serious BIG partnerships to happen before XMAS.
Look at the power of the Amazon/Affirm partnership in one month alone.
