Unfortunately though, Senex do not export, and the East Coast gas price has suffered declines over the past 6 months, however there are rumours of a looming East Coast gas shortage, so Senex might still be an attractive takeover target, especially at these lowish stock prices.

On the other hand, if you read the article, perhaps Senex might go and acquire a West Coast gas company for a bargain basement price, someone like Triangle, Norwest, Talon or Pilot.
