hi spid….you seem to be deliberately missing the point….EV’s currently are capable of combusting in your home, in the parking lot without being in an accident…just sitting there and.. WHOOSHKA.. the fires cannot be put out…..that’s why a German parking lot has banned them and apparently others and insurance companies are looking at the whole situation.

Parking garages were built to house cars, they don’t ban ICE vehicles from parking in them…Perhaps you can send your thoughts And protestations to the powers that be?

In the meantime, media articles concerning these issues must have negative connotations for sales…Perhaps that is why subsidies are needed to promote sales. It is well documented that sales plummet like a stone when subsidies are pulled…tells me people are not breaking their necks to buy one. Clearly the buyers are not convinced..
No doubt they will work to improve the safety, but until that is proven which takes much time and charging is as quick as an Ice vehicle, distance travelled is improved, towing capacity is improved, price reductions etc etc, I won’t be buying one….There simply is no need to and I feel sure that the majority of the population feel the same way. It’s the public that need to be convinced and so far, they haven’t been.They are hard to fool and don’t readily part with their hard earned… That’s a fact.
