there are plenty of "reliable" news services.... it often depends on if you're looking for news that confirms your beliefs or if you're looking for news without bias or spin.
not all attendees were rioters... some no doubt went with the thought they would hear speeches in safety and with the idea of learning something new. but of course the dynamics of being locked up and needing frustration release, those with less tolerance of authoritative reasoning because it doesn't meet their needs for wild days and nights seeking violence as well as those who want to believe that covid isn't real or a threat to the community, had been offered the chance to act out and attack some authority ---- poor old coppers always get the rough end of the pineapple.
