Likewise. They managed to conserve the cash for well over 6 months while kicking off BNPL and now that is done, they need to spend/invest it in something. No point just sitting on it forever. From the operational report figures, BNPL should be cash flow positive very soon if it isn’t already. Assuming they have the BNPL funding sorted (or a plan in place at least which I am sure they aren’t so silly as to not have done so at this point in time), then why not put the money in a solid / proven / relatively low risk company that will add $4M profit to bottom line and compliment the BNPL future as well (let alone what else they might have planned…). Gives the company stability at the very least, and should also mean no more losses on balance sheet from here on. All makes sense to me!
