For me, there are far too many unresolved issues surrounding the question of which future energy source for national power generation. Added to this we have the emotive/political and often erroneous, fact-lacking environmental lobby.
Kohler lacks logic if he concludes his line of arguement by saying that "investors need to ensure a solid position gas and renewables...."
Best to steer clear of all direct energy stocks.Why bother, there are plenty of others (its a feast out there). Currently I am heavily into stocks already benefiting from and/or likely to benefit from Gorgon and Pluto, such as MND,FGE,NOD, NMS,SXE and NWH.
