In a crash, everything goes down. But gold is the first to recover while others can lag for years, and some go broke. The traders still have cash, as evidenced by todays rally, there will come a point where they get tapped out by a series of dead cat bounces, when that happens it's going to be a very very ugly day/week/months. Make sure you have some dry powder and that you don't need it to support your everyday living, because you won't be able to time it. You'll need to wear some downside before it turns, but if you prep correctly you'll do better than 90% of the punters.
