One can but hope this is good news. Having lost both my Mum and my mother in-law to this horrible disease, I hope for humanity's sake the final results are as good as the interim read-out.
Although Im hopeful of the financial returns having held for a few years now, I think it's a most incredible journey we are on with unlocking the secrets of how cancer works and ultimately harnessing the immune system in addressing these diseases. It's far more interesting to me than the fêted "entrepeneurs" building rockets and actually making a far more lasting and substantial contribution to our society.

My greatest hope is that my young daughters never experience the suffering and impact their grandmothers did. I truly believe that future lies within our grasp thanks to this excellent research.
