The purpose and reason that you and I are in a position to even wonder about such questions ?
If we were at the much higher level of Cosmic entities such as The Sun or the Earth we could ask the same questions.
And of course there is no doubt that many cells in our body have the same questions ... just as relevant at their level.
Your claim that because all things exist according to Time and cycles, they are meaningless is hiding from the reality we exist in .... at this moment.
