Congrats BlueAnt, owning that many share is quite an investment no matter what the average cost, to me it shows that you're definitely a believer, no matter what.
Shame about the tax bill, i'm thinking that you'd rather have seen that money still invested in BRN. Thankfully our shares are safely locked away in our self managed super fund and don't have tax issues
The crazy part of our BRN story began back in early March last year when we had the COVID crash, our BRN investment (started 2017) was $80K in the hole, we had 500,000 shares at an average of about 30c and was seriously thinking of bailing out of our investment, instead we got a bit crazy and did the opposite and bought over 630,000 shares at 4.9c (tipped in another $31k) and bought twice more in the next 6 months to round out our holdings at 1.5mil shares.
We are most definitely BRN believers, the 4th industrial revolution is on our doorsteps and we have the keys in our pocket...
