"And all three of those doctors know that at the moment, of about 200 people in hospital with covid, 97per cent have had one or no jabs."

That could be because most of the jabs have happened recently and there are not so many people in Vic with two jabs. Also, being recently vaccinated gives more immunity than being vaccinated 3-6 months ago. Data from Israel shows that they are having more infections now than ever before and they have 90% vaccinated. So you cant rely on the vaccine to prevent infection.

So, what about Long-Covid? What is the risk of getting long covid after being infected - vaccinated or not? In the UK, 2.1% of the total population now has long-covid and are unable to work - and the rate is increasing despite 80% being vaccinated.

Long-Covid mostly affects middle-aged working people, so it is a big problem. They took a survey to find out the risk of getting long covid after getting infected and they estimate that a vaccinated person has about a 1 in 20 chance and an unvaccinated person has about a 1 in 10 chance (see link below). But they admit that most vaccinated people stopped using the monitoring app after being vaccinated - so the numbers could be the same. Data from Israel also shows that 11% of infected kids go on to get long-covid and all kids above 12 there are vaccinated. (see link in my previous post).

So we can assume that if we get covid (vaccinated or not) and take no treatments, we have approximately a 1 in 10 chance of getting long-covid. In the UK 40,000 people per day are being infected with covid. So that equates to 4,500 people per day getting long-covid, and its increasing.

In Australia we currently have 2,000 new covid cases per day and that's about to go through the roof when we open up in 2-3 weeks. So expect about 1,000 to 2,000 people per day in Australia to get long covid from next month onward. That's around 500,000 per year!. So, if you don't want to be one of them tell Brad Hazard and Dan Andrews to stop banning effective treatments because the vaccines work stop long-covid.
