arthur its not the battery you have to consider in the cheaper variety,its what the gears are made of most of the cheaper variety have plastic gears which dont last long,so i feel if you pay for a dearer drill check out the gear material first,it may save you money,and more importantly inconvenience in the long run,its a long way from the farm back into town ,cheers.
