I hope OEL & BYE both do well. Because I hold both.
Anyway, Gas prices are going nuts in Europe. (source https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/global-markets-gas-2021-09-20/)
I did have a graph with US and EU prices (which I can no longer find) and you could see the US going up from $2.5 to $5.
This is the best I could do (source https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/market-insights/blogs/natural-gas/092021-ctracker-gas-prices-oil-supply-lithium-butadiene)
While the EU prices had slammed into $20. (TTF - Dutch/ EU). The JKM (Japan Korea Marker) is heading higher
LNG can be exported from the US to the EU via tanker.
Upshot. We could see gas prices go higher. In the short term, we have the Northern hemisphere winter. In the longer term we have multinationals running factories in the US harder as not only are customers in the US but so is the cheap energy and the political will to not produce in China.
