Correct me if I am wrong as I have been so in many instances. The plug will only significantly contain the water coming up the drill string. The water is artesian and is coming up outside the drill string hence the need for the squeeze as to isolate the flow both in and outside the string. This will then theoretically completely isolate the water below Zone 3.
