There is a thing called, personal responsibility, which I strongly believe in, which is why I don't subscribe to the excuse of what others do or don't do.
The woman was breaking the law, end of story.
Her choice to do what she did, her choice to be where she was, and her choice to not move on as the police line advanced.
Whether you support her being there or not is irrelevant to the fact she was breaking the law and put herself in danger.
She should be charged.
As for the Police officers actions, the police officers actions are being reviewed,
I doubt anything will come of it, as the police officer was doing his job ahead of the advancing police line.
If the woman feels hard done by, she can make a complaint to the relevant authorities and pursue it that way.
Covid-19
766 cases in Victoria today, with 4 dead (12 dead for the week)
1,064 cases in NSW today, with 6 dead (56 dead for the week)
Over 1,500 people in hospital nationally
Sorry, I have no tolerance for those that through stupidity and selfishness have contributed to the suffering and deaths of many here in Australia, and who will be responsible for much more suffering and death to come.
