Hi MG
The stock has a number of large holders that have been selling out since they recieved the stock (see the "top 20" thread for a recent history of sales).
The people selling are professionals (brokers) and it is likely them that are selling down the small trades. What the game they are play is - who knows? Last time it reached down to .4 cents, they struck it back up to .8 cents.
The share price continues to hold its value because:
a) the company continues to release announcements on the ASX saying they have a business plan and that everything is going well;
b) the large holders still have a lot of stock to sell, and are holding up the price. While it looks like people still want the stock, small holders will continue to hold in the hope that it may go past a cent again.
CVI is unable to make further large placements and was discussing doing a placement with escrow - meaning that the holders could not sell. If that goes through, I don't know what it will do to the company value, as the backers will run out of stock to sell in the next couple of months.
Regards
