I have to ask why is it that you "wonder what will happen"? Is it because the short term variations in the share price are all you're really interested in or is it because your bored, impatient, whatever???

Really, the continual conjecture, scenario planning and downright imaginary realities that have pervaded the CTP thread for the past couple of months (and yes it does coincide with the arrival of the ST Traders, DT and Nervous Nellies that you speak of) is wearing really thin.

The question you ask - what would happen if BG walks - and then answer in the same post - the share price would fall, is really only of interest to the types of traders and nervous nellies that you are criticising. So what really was the point of asking a hypothetical question to which you already had the answer (or at least the answer that you wanted to hear).

If you bought under 10c as most of the long term holders on this thread will tell you that they did, and you believe it will go to 20c, 30c, $1 or whatever in the next year or two, who really cares what happens over the next few weeks or even months. What if BG walks and it falls to 10c again, most are still in front except for the ST Traders and DT and Nervous Nellies (maybe), so they will not likely sell given they are planning on a somewhat longer term investment.

I appreciate the sometimes overwhelming desire to just post about one's (current) favourite stock. I feel that desire regularly also but have felt very little need to start (or even participate) in the enourmous number of meaningless threads over the past few months. I get enough warm fuzzy feelings about CTP just reading the regular, high value posts from many on these threads.

Anyway, I think Grangeh already answered your question by basically saying that long term holders won't really care what BG does (even if their departure proves a temporary setback to the share price climb) they are likely to hold for the real rewards which are still some time away - and by that I mean years?
