No I'm not kidding. I'm not suggesting you have the CEO typing away - but it's an optics thing. A website is often one of the first ports of call for potential investors to check out, just for situational awareness, and to be honest ours is A) a bit embarrassing and lacking professionalism and B) contains misleading information for potential investors (eg 60 percent ownership). Yes astute investors obviously look beyond this, but It's a simple and easily outsourced fix, that helps just a little to represent a company in a good light. It's info can be drawn largely from internal documents and public releases, probably wouldn't take much actual employee time at all. Sure you may want to wait for financing because structures will change, but do we want to highlight the small and amateur nature of our team to those involved in those processes too?
