Exactly.
Having an insto investor isn't the big solve for this stock. It's a few things altogether.
US listing potentially isn't even one at all really.
There was no reason to think Affirm had it any easier than Australian BNPL just because they were on NASDAQ. They got wrecked worse than Zip for a looooooong time.
They were saved by a US retail partnership. Not by an insto investor.
If Zip can bag a Microsoft US deal or something, then it will have a permanent jump. However for constant upwards movement, it might need all the rest of BNPL to come up with it. For 'pull away from the pack' type movement then it will need a major insto investment most likely.
If it can't manage a major insto, then a rapid succession of major retail brand annoucements could also shoot it up and shift sentiment to overwhelmingly positive.
