Both trials have started (trials are a slow process), but only the the Israel trial has started treating patients (the Israel trial process started about 6 months before the Australian trial). The Australian trial is a lot more complex than the Israeli trial as it is multi-site, is working in an unique patient population (EMD), and involves two strata that are effectively two seperate trials. On top of all this the Australian trial lies on the Zantrene approval pathway so there are a lot more i’s to dot and t’s to cross to ensure the data is to registration standard.
