I actually find your post very disturbing. If you are indicating that nurses and doctors should treat some patients with less care or compassion than others based on their beliefs, it starts people sliding on a slippery slope of true discrimination. Patients may die if they don't get proper care. And doctors who discriminate on any percieved belief should be removed immediately, like the nurse in melbourne that posted anti Semitic views on F.B and lost her job immediately. Re. The Hipocratic Oath.
Unfortunately, you are not alone in your views, and I see society in Melbourne getting extremely divided and violent. I do not like seeing this. International news broadcasts around the world from Greece to China are reporting on what is happening in Melbourne. They are showing pictures of armoured vehicles and riot squads, police firing into crowds, a video of a man who gets tackled from behind by a policeman that throws him to the ground face first with the sound of his face and neck smashing. I have seen spinal injuries, and from watching that video, I fear that that man will have suffered horrific injuries. He was unarmed. The 70 year old woman that was pushed backwards and landed on her head with a sickening thud, only to be pepper sprayed in the face by police while she was in a state of reduced consciousness? Can you condone that? Are you going to blame some tradesman for that?
We have all felt the effects of the Australian governments inability to safely and successfully deal with any of these issues, but they are now turning the people against eachother. If these issues had been dealt with properly like some other countries, Melbourne would not be descending into chaos. Please stop blaming people who don't want to get the Vaccine for the problems that have been directly caused by government. By the way,I am not an antivaxer or construction worker.

All Australians should remember back to pre pandemic times and ask ourselves then, if we would be happy with what we see happening now. I don't think you would have supported mandatory vaccinations two years ago. And even if you did, You would have to agree that it may have been implemented with better proccesses.
It is only by the compassion of all of us working together in a peaceful society that we can get through this. Let none of us condone violence, in any setting.
May our Doctors and Nurses treat us equally, no matter the colour of our skin, our religious or political beliefs, or our abilty to function in society.
