Anyone concerned by unrest in the DRC recently? Opinions please - if the peace process were to fail and the DRC were to fall into a war-like situation again, would AVM continue at the mine-site? I guess thats unlikely if a small skirmish caused the mine to shut for a couple of weeks last time? Information on the news wires is more than just confusing. You read one report that says the peace process in on the edge, the next things arn't great but holding together. Be interesting to see if the UN bump up MONUC numbers when they are reviewed soon.
