Democracy has its faults, but the democratic Taiwanese have achieved greater economic growth and superior living standards than the CCP in the mainland, all without torturing, killing, imprisoning and oppressing millions of their own population in various mistakes...

...The Great Leap forward, the Cultural Revolution, the Great famine, the Tiananmen Square Massacre, and then being so embarrassed that they have to try and air brush these mistakes out of Chinese history.

Did I forget anything? Maybe the Great Milk Powder Contamination Scandal, the Schools Built Without Rebar that collapse in earthquakes, the Great Suppression of Truth concerning SARS followed by an even worse attempted coverup over Covid in Wuhan...
