    Is that a win?

I first bought back into BHP mid-2019 at basically this exact same price, figuring it's better than having the money in my mortgage offset account.

And yes, the dividends have exceeded the 3.5% p.a. saving in the mortgage offset account. However, not by much. I'm still disappointed in how BHP has turned out. I know you can make some better money buying low in the cycle and selling high, but longer term, BHP hasn't really done a lot since the GFC. I'd thought maybe the tide was turning (commodity supercycle), but now we've been beaten up by the IO price.

Will things get better for BHP? Is there a future to look forward to healthy capital gains and dividends? My best performing stock this year is Google, up by over 60% since start of the year. Now those are some returns. Can BHP step up? Would love to hear some more positive views.
