I was reading about all the problems with the Greenshoots website.
Having worked for 30 years in the software industry, I have a very LOW opinion of the Indian software industry.
There are good and bad Indian engineers, like in every other country, but the level of misinformation and outright resume fraud in India is astounding. You can buy an ivy league degree, a covid vaccination certificate, just about anything. On more than one occasion, we gave up outsourcing to India because we spent more time reviewing and rewriting their code.
No one with a top UK or US degree is going to go back to India unless they have family requirements (maybe 1 in 10000).
The proof of the Greenshoots pudding will be in the eating. Don't believe the resumes. Look at the actual software.
