The partners of the $50 billion Gorgon LNG project are expected to hand down their long-awaited investment decision today.

Exxon Mobil and Chevron reportedly reached agreement on the venture last week while Shell is believed to have done so at the weekend. Chevron has signed $70 billion in sales contracts for Japan and South Korea.
