Wow, what a couple of weeks. Been doing a bit more research on the Vanadium side of things on the VRFB (Batteries).

Interesting about the AER court case against the SA "90 days or its free" ...... "biggest battery in the world" battery. [Allegedly]Refusing to provide power during the Callide Power Station outage.

Puts his cheeky hat on ...... "SA Batteries are for South Australians ....... Qld Batteries are for Qlders" to misquote a state premier.

Wondering if there is an opportunity for $TOE to build an $LYC style integrated supply chain for its Vanadium output straight into some Vanadium battery manufacturers in Australia. If you think through the process - What are EV Manufacturers going to miss the most? Comm'on ... think it through. EV services will only involve brake pad changes, and new tyres, until the Litium Ion batteries need replacing after 5 years. All those value added services the previously offered? And what are people going to do? Plug it into the 10amp wall socket?

What if an EV Dealer offered an extra service: $8k and we'll rewire your house for 3 phase power for a 32amp recharge with VRFB deepcycle battery connected to your roof top solar etc. That could be interesting if it got legs.

From what I have seen in the research VRFB have to get down to $150/KwHr (unit purchase price) to be viable. Its really worth having a bit of a read.

So while we watch these idiot day traders and end of Quarter Sandbaggers drive the price back down to pick up the 4% gap ups they missed in their 73% gains it might be good to do some research - I have learned a lot in the last few days.
