    Rykster,

""The market NEVER gets values wrong because the market always reflects the one definitive factor of value - the buyer/seller relationship - at that point in time, under the prevailing conditions. ""

Very simplistic view which is not accurate and shows your inexperience on how the sharemarket operates..

Quite often you will see takeovers occuring where the takeover price is anywhere between 30% to 40% above the market price. The reason this occurs is because the one doing the taking over believes the company is undervalued and is worth considerably more.. Why else would they be willing to pay such a premium if they thought that what they were buying was already overvalued. It is widely known that Warren Buffett has a long history of buying undervalued stocks. He has made a fortune during his life of going after stocks that the market did not value correctly .

I would suggest you do some research Rykster in how one of the most successful investors of our time made his billions. To suggest that the market is always right is simply crazy thinking.

I watched a stock rise by over 50% today. It's code was RRR . It has not made any anouncement since it's market cap was 50% lower just one day ago.

Today this warning was issued by ASIC.

Australia’s corporate watchdog has issued a stern warning to local investors that indulging in illegal “pump and dump” activities could result in hefty fines or jail time.
ASIC said it had observed “blatant attempts” by some local investors to pump share prices by using social media to announce a target stock or designated time to buy, and a target price or percentage gain to be reached, before dumping the shares.

I would suggest Rykster that this type of activity would result in stocks to become OVERVALUED and does not represent a true reflection of their true worth. Would you not agree.
But of course in your eyes, the market NEVER gets it wrong.
