Perhaps that is what the shorts are banking on as well as they slowly increase their bet week to week ? Novartis leaving and subsequently a CR; who knows?
Commonsense though should point towards Novartis waiting for the OTAT meeting results before finalising the deal completely so I am not sure why you are expecting a confirmation sooner than that with your "less likely by the day" comment ?
Why would Novartis rush in now when the meeting is only weeks away - easy to move forward with confidence if OTAT sign off on potency assays .... and easy to simply walk away if they don't ?
The complication in the mix is of course is whether Novartis are in fact interested in Rexlemestrocel-L given the synergies with Entresto discovered from the phase 3 CHF trial data ?
