There was no medication given but I was given oxygen monitor & an electronic thermometer - I was advised I had it & received a phone / Telehealth call once a day. I had been exposed to an asymptomatic person over several days & received a large exposure to the virus compared to ‘normal’, though this was unknown at the time.
The progressive slide into a life threatening position took about a week, but as you’re quarantined alone in your room, no one can witness just how bad the slide actually is.
DHHS were the most appallingly badly disorganised rabble on the planet. They could get nothing right at the time and were useless whilst I was at home. They, along with that lying prick Andrews should be removed & replaced. I will never ever forgive him for the bungled hotel quarantine, followed by his amnesia. How dare he.
Fortunately for me, my pre teen daughter called an ambulance as I would have died within days. Once in hospital I was on fluids constantly and massive steroids intravenously trying to keep the airways working. For two weeks I got worse until it was incubate time, when Remdisivir turned things around,
For those unvaccinated reading this, personally I think you’re playing a bad hand, cos some of you will end up like I did & I promise you, you will have severe buyers regret if you do.
