Re the question - why ORG over Santos. Good question. I do have holdings in both, but have downsized STO, and bought ORG yesterday.
Some of STO's big plans about making gas from coal, etc, are rather ambitious. ORG might have a better base. As for takeovers ... ORG itself might become a target, as it was before, nearly taken over by overseas interests.
