The CIF price Japan must be over US$3,000/tonne. Yes, prices are much higher than the ZCE as there is no export tax on ZCE pricing. To get an approximate price add 25% to ZCE for ferrosilicon and 20% for silico manganese, this will give a close amount.
I'm wondering whether OM Sarawak has looked for other suppliers for coke outside China? They should've taken the opportunity to diversify away from China suppliers 18 months ago when they had to close furnaces due to supply problems from China during the initial Covid outbreak.
