Evap pond still work at that temp. Modern pumps designed with the right pump curve can pump in a vacuum. 33 years in the oil industry gives me some knowledge on these topics. Their is no sound reason the pilot plant cant work, just engineering calculations and design.
But you know this.
Time will tell.
What will you have in your life if the pilot plant works to design. Time to start planning perhaps.
