Really this was a panic sell if you look at it closely you will see that its a win win for telstra shareholders the govt needs the copper network and will have to pay for it, they will then build NBN which wont be able to compete.
Share holders could easily make as much as $6 per share at worst lose a few percent.
This possibility was built into the share price for some time so my guess is it is well over sold.
