There are two parts to this Capital Raising tepidcopper.
One is the $15m dollar placement to Sophisticated Investors and Insto's and this is done on placement platforms like Freshequities.com. Sometimes the placement may be only inhouse at the broker but most open it up for these groups to bid into. There was one the other day for FSG which was raising $15m, ended up raising to $20m and it had $40m bid into it. I doubt IBM or any other groups would go through these platforms and it would be a private placements, you can rule that out.
The second part is the Share Purchase Plan, which if you have archer shares on the specified record date you can participate in that raising, which I assume is what you are looking at. The good thing about Archer is they have always raised well within their own investors, however this time around its worth attracting the likes of deep value investors into the stock.
