    Voltaire,
Was just having a look again at the 102 - 103 day cycle off the 2007 top in particular on the DOW because it has worked very well so far.
    25920/252 = 102.86
    7 x 102.86 = 720
    11/10/07 + 720 days = 30/9/09

    BTW 6/3/09 + 97 days = 11/6/09 + 97 days = 16/9/09

I have to say that a number of dates recently where I was expecting a top have turned out to be lows. Eg 77 year anniversary of 8 July 1932 and the 80 year anniversary of the 1929 top although the latter was hardly a significant low. Further support of this is the 1929 road map which was working very well until november last year when it inverted. I think they call that a phase shift. The turn dates are still working reasonably well but it's goin up instead of down.

The range on XJO from March low to June high has been pretty much repeated from the July low. 100% price in 75% time. That spells a very strong market which is showing bugger all respect to pressure dates etc.

In 45 Years in Wall St Gann says "Remember stocks are never too high to buy as long as the trend is up and never too low to sell as long as the trend is down; but do not overlook the fact that you must always use a stop loss order for your protection. Always go with the trend and not against it"

The trend is up - 1,2,3 day weekly and monthly.

There ya go - DEC 09 SPI 4666 3111 x 1.5. SPI just loves 1000 point moves (there's the bear in me again).

All that probably means it is about to collapse which would be the only thing that makes any sense to me. How on earth can you fix a HUGE debt crisis by creating more debt. It's a case of 'The Emperor's New Clothes'.

I am relatively new to 'the markets' and I now understand why some have suggested to ONLY look at the charts. No, media, no subscription services, brokers reports, nothing. Just charts.

I think I just had a therapy session lol.
    Cheers
