"They've created a new interactive LCD billboard that offers a breakthrough in pixel display quality - the definition is outstanding by interactive billboard standards. Apparently, instead of costing $2.2 million for an electronic billboard, a version using LUM’s technology only costs $220,000. The first board is being installed on the Deen Hotel on Aberdeen Street in Northbridge, Perth.

LUM’s breakthrough technology allows their boards to be connected to the net and run video, ads, whatever they choose over the net from their HQ. To demonstrate, they've signed a deal to broadcast either Channel 9 or 7's (I can't remember which) nightly news live over the board on the Deen. Instead of taking on the established players in the ad industry they've opted to sell the technology instead. LUM sells each $8 chip for $2000.

Roadshow to brokers, institutions, etc begins on 21st of July and we'll most likely start seeing some press coverage featuring the board on the Deen soon. Take a look at the price action over the last couple of days. I got in at 22c. Volume has been doubling for the last few weeks, check your charts.

The broker mentioned stuff like "This is the next ERG" and "everyone reckons this is a $1 stock", the kind of toss I usually ignore though I have to admit that the story is very convincing.

This is not a dot com, it has real technology that will soon be earning revenue. Contracts with major advertisers have already been signed. Unlike a lot of other tech stocks, LUM missed out on the big boom and subsequent price spikes we saw earlier this year. As a result, it’s making its highs now and doesn’t have any sellers eager to get out at the overinflated prices they paid in February, March, etc… there is no overhang!

Remember that they have the worldwide patent on this new technology that is set to save advertising companies all over the world millions!"
