The Australian taxpayers buily Telstra. It is in the best interests of the Australian taxpayers (read telecom consummers) that Telstra is broken up. I avoid them whenever possible and will continue to do so. Their corprate culture still ranks. No use crying about erosion of shareholder value, it's all part of the risk of investing. Telstra brought this on themselves.
